James T. Cornicelli is an experienced pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and corporate-strategy executive with more than two decades of leadership in business development, strategic partnerships, healthcare technology, and life sciences.
His career has included business development and strategy roles at Salix Pharmaceuticals, UCB, Pharming Group, ZappRx, and Medigene. He previously served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at ZappRx, where he worked to improve and digitize the specialty-medication prior-authorization process. He later served in global business-development leadership at Pharming Group and as Head of Corporate Development and Strategy at Medigene, supporting partnerships and growth initiatives involving advanced cancer immunotherapies.
James earned his undergraduate degree from Nazareth College and an MBA from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. His leadership experience combines strategic planning, healthcare innovation, partnership development, and the ability to bring people together around complex organizational goals.
